"Black Diaspora and Germany" Workshop

The DFG Young Scholars Network „Black Diaspora and Germany“ will hold its third workshop at the Freie Universität Berlin, January 27. & 28.
The network brings together young scholars based in Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States interested in the study of the Black Diaspora in Germany. From the perspectives of Black German, African American, African Diaspora, and Critical Whiteness Studies, “Black Diaspora and Germany” attempts to develop new theoretical frameworks as well as contributing fresh empirical studies on the history and present of the Black Diaspora in Germany.
